Nancy Pop (she/her)
Maya Cadieux
Nancy Pop is an award-winning Romanian-American actress, producer, and director based in New York.

She was born in Reghin, a small town in Romania where she grew up in a literal castle in the woods. At four years old Pop and her family immigrated to Erie, Pennsylvania, and later Bentonville, Arkansas, where she began developing a love for theater and all things performance. An enthusiastic polymath, she spent her childhood competing in theater competitions, learning to play the piano and viola, debating on her high school’s Model United Nations team, and working at McDonald’s. She’s since hung up the spatula and is now living in New York working as an actor across stages and screens. You may know her from YouTube or Sephora stores for Amika’s “Bust Your Brass” campaign back when she was a peroxide blonde. When she’s not popping around sets or in rehearsals, you can find her co-hosting Artists & Beers and SPLASH poetry throughout NYC. She is a Founder of Two Bimbos, a theatrical production company committed to bringing hot people together for cutting-edge theatre.

Pop received her BA in Theatre Performance and Playwriting from Marymount Manhattan College and has additionally trained with Anthony Abeson, Brian O’Neil, Barry Shapiro, The Second City, Magnet Theatre, Berg Studios, and Pacific Performance Project East.
